Airlines
Airport
You can fly into Montego Bay or Kingston. Both airports will have shuttles to take you to Beaches Ochos Rios. However, Montego Bay seems a bit cheaper to fly into as well as a better recommended airport in general.
Club Mobay
Montego Bay airport also offers Club Mobay. Club Mobay is an added cost of $83 a person round trip and allows you to fasttrack the customs line. It also give you access to a food and drink lounge at the airport. According to reviews, this option can save you hours of time at the airport.
How to Book Club Mobay
Once you have you flights booked, you can call 1-800-Beaches and they will take care of your Club Mobay reservation. Be aware--THERE IS A LIMITED NUMBER OF SPOTS AVAILABLE each day. If you are interested in using Club Mobay, make sure to book as soon as possible.
Extra Tips:
Flights are finally starting to drop! A few things we've noticed:
- Flights seem to be cheaper in you fly in Thursday the 31st opposed to Friday the 1st.
- If you have points, that might be a good way to save some money--American Express will allow you to transfer points to Delta.
- Consider a split flight--we elected to fly into Montego Bay via Delta and are flying home Southwest. This allowed us to maximize points from both airlines and save money.
- Download the Skyscanner App and set up Google Flight alerts to be notified when flights are at their cheapest.
