Grant Kocsis

We met in 2007 at a college social gathering with my matron of honor. We parked and got out of the car and these two guys pulled up behind us and got out and one of them being Grant. He said something to me and we locked eyes and I instantly froze and turned away and smiled. Grant asked me for my number later that night and later texted me to tell me his friends had left him there to try to get me to come back which I didn't fall for. Over the next few days we continued to message each other and see each other hanging out regularly. Both of us had just got out of relationships  and I was trying to get into nursing school so the timing of our relationship didnt last long and I ultimately ran from it questioning my feelings. Grant knew all along how he felt though he never told me in fear that would push me away more. We kept in touch over the years and ultimately the relationships we were in were not meant to be. We reunited in 2018 after a bold move of coming to his front doorstep one night. That night we stayed up and talked for hours like time had never passed. Talking about our kids and our past and previous relationships. I knew I had to see him again after that. We started seeing each other regularly and talking every day. I had always questioned whether I had made a mistake in the past letting him go. On May 30th 2018 we told each other we loved each other then at the end of June found out I was expecting. Everything was crazy fast. The last year adding a huge family has been a whirlwind but a HUGE blessing. On Aug 31st 2019 Grant proposed at our old college we attended together at IUSB at Weikamp. We will get married June 20th, 2020  and honeymoon in Jamaica. Our love story is just begining.

For our wedding, we decided we want all of the kids to take part in our ceremony instead of having bridesmaids and groomsmen. Since we are two becoming one, they will stand up with us as we join together at...
