There are three international airports in Jamaica:
- Sangster International Airport (MBJ) in Montego Bay
- Norman Manley International Airport (KIN) in Kingston, Jamaica's capital city
- Ian Fleming International Airport (OCJ) in picturesque Ocho Rios
Guests staying at Sandals Ochi: FREE airport transportation is provided to and from both Sangster International MBJ (1hr 45min drive) and Norman Manley International KIN (1hr 40min drive) airports.
Guests staying at Beaches Ocho Rios: FREE airport transportation is provided to and from Sangster International Airport only, about 90min drive.
Transportation to and form the airports is available complimentary in air-conditioned buses. After retrieving your luggage proceed to the Sandals desk or lounge located convienently by Immigration and Customs.
Ian Fleming International Airport is a short 15min drive to Sandals Ochi and a shorter 5min drive to Beaches Ocho Rios however transportation to and from airport is NOT AVAILABLE complimentary at this time. GUESTS MUST ARRANGE THEIR OWN TRANSPORTATION!!
Resorts
There are 2 all-inclusive resorts:
- Sandals Ochi - main resort adult only (18+)
- Beaches Ocho Rios - family friendly resort
Check-in time is at 3:00p.m. If you arrive before check-in, they’ll hold your luggage so you can begin your all-inclusive vacation right away. Check-out time is 11:00a.m. If your flight departs later, you can also leave your luggage with them and spend as much time as possible beside the sea, soaking up the sun.
Guests staying at Sandals Ochi have access to Beaches Ocho Rios, as they are owned by Sandals. Just tell the front desk and they can call a trusted cab driver. You can use the amenities at Beaches ocho Rio for the day without an extra charge. The cab ride over will cost, however. Sandals guests also have the option to visit other Sandals resorts on the island. **Must purchase this option when making reservation.

Don't want to stay at niether Sandals Ochi nor Beaches Ocho Rios:
Although we encourage you to stay at either all-inclusive resort and book using our group code WG22157176 for your ease, we understand if you choose not to. Please understand that lodging, food, activities/excursions, and airport transportation becomes YOUR responsibility. In addition, any guests whom do not stay at the Sandals or Beaches resort will have to pay $140 to access the wedding. These guests will be granted access to Sandals Ochi 1hr before the start of the ceremony.
COVID-19 Requirements

ARRIVAL:
Pre-travel COVID-19 test is NOT required! Vaccination is NOT required! No quarantine!
It will also not be mandatory (but encouraged) to wear masks in enclosed public areas.
For faster processing on arrival at the airport, travellers are encouraged to submit their Immigration/Customs C5 card online at here or go to https://enterjamaica.com. This may be done at any time before arrival. If the card has not been submitted online, passengers may complete the paper form issued in-flight by the airline.
DEPARTURE:
Return Testing REQUIRED!!
Before boarding a flight to the United States, you are required to show a negative COVID-19 test result taken no more than 1 day before travel, or documentation of having recovered from COVID-19 in the past 90 days.
These tests are FREE and conducted on resort by approved and practiced medical professionals with minimal distraction to your overall vacation experience.
Travelers are responsible for costs of testing. Cost of tests range from $60.00 to $100.00 for antigen tests and from $150.00 to $230.00 for PCR tests.
Special Note:
In the unfortunate event you incur a positive test result from the initial Antigen test, a second test will be administered, which will be a PCR test. Should the PCR test incur a positive result and require quarantine, additional on-resort stay up to 14 days will be covered by Unique Vacations, Inc., making it one less thing to worry about. After 5 days travellers to the USA may therefore be released from isolation if they are asymptomatic or their symptoms are mild and improving.
Guests not staying at either resort will be required to isolate at their hotel or at a government facility for up to 10 days. For purposes of departure from the island before the isolation period ends, visitors may be released from isolation by a medical officer according to the rules of their country of destination and the airlines. If a hotel cannot accommodate the protocols, or a traveler is staying in a private residence, the five-day release traveler must be able to meet them independently or remain in isolation for the full 10-day isolation period.

Average Temperatures
In July, Jamaica enters the low season. Daytime high temperatures are around 88°F, rarely falling below 86°F or exceeding 90°F. The ocean temperature is around 82 °F. Nighttime temperatures are around 78°F, rarely falling below 76°F or exceeding 80°F. In July the chance of precipitation is only around 18%, but with 100% humidity, meaning the days will feel muggy.
Physical Assistance
Sandals/Beaches will try to accommodate the special needs of guests to the best of their abilities. Both Sandals Ochi Beach Resort and Beaches Ocho Rios Resort can also provide special equipment. They must have approximately 60 days notice prior to your arrival to facilitate your requests. WHAT TO PACK
Pack lightly; one large suitcase with a carry-on is ideal. Resort casual by day, resort elegant by night. Casual wear is perfect, so while the sun is up, your shorts, tank tops, swim suits, short-sleeved shirts, sundresses and light slacks are the perfect attire. As the sun sets some restaurants require full-length pants and collared shirts; the dress code is listed under each restaurant description.
Don't forget a couple of swimming suits, pack plenty of sun-screen, and bring and your wedding outfit!
Currency & Tips
Remember Sandals and beaches are ALL-INCLUSIVE resorts! Although everything is included, you may also want to enjoy optional on-site and/or off-site experiences like spa treatments, special excursions, and shopping for additional costs.
Currency:
There is an exchange bureau at both Sandals Ochi and Beaches Ocho Rios. The Jamaican Dollar is the legal tender in Jamaica.
However, US dollars are accepted. Know that if you pay in US dollars it is best to pay the exact amount or to use $1 or $5 US bills. The change is given in Jamaican dollars and the hotel or shop will set the exchange rate and the rate will normally be to the advantage of the merchant.

Most merchants do accept U.S. Dollars, traveler’s cheques and major credit cards, i.e. VISA®, MasterCard® and American Express®.
Tips & Gratuities:
Tips and gratuities at resort are strictly prohibited for all staff except personal butlers. In the event you wish to tip your butler, it will be greatly appreciated but under no circumstance will a tip be required or solicited.

Beaches Ocho Rios is a family-friendly all-inclusive resort. Fly into Montego International Airport, look for the Sandals or Beaches desk or lounge, conveniently located right outside the Immigration and Customs area. Your complimentary roundtrip transportation to the resort and airport will be arranged by Beaches. It's a 90 minute ride to the resort, so sit back, relax and enjoy the magnificent scenery.
