Since birth we were raised with the mentality "family over everything". But what exactly is family? It's more than just shared DNA. Family is laughing so hard your stomach hurts. It’s crying together and then lifting one another up to keep fighting another day. It's getting bleach on your new Victoria Secret sweatsuit (sorry Arrielle) to help clean your tia's new home. It is telling someone what they need to hear because you love them more than just telling them what they want to hear. It is making the impossible feel possible. We have always thought blood was the only possible provider of these things, but I have seen Dijon give all of these things to Arrielle all of these years. I have seen them laugh together, strategize, make difficult decisions together, build a business and family and diminish any obstacle that dared cross their paths. I have seen my cousin shed many tears in our lives and I have also enjoyed many smiles, but none compared to the joy that I have seen radiate from her since they crossed paths again. Our family is, well, a lot. And he embraced us with open arms and fit in perfectly to our circus. The two of you fit together like two intricately designed puzzle pieces. D is different yet perfectly intertwined. So welcome to the family cuz and may the two of you continue to have a happy, prosperous, godly union as long as you live. I love yall more than a fat kid loves Mr. Softee on a hot summer day. Thanks for dealing with my crazy behind.

I actually met Dijon and Arrielle through my husband. He and Dijon when to grade school together and Dijon came to our wedding. Some time later we met through business but over time we've become the best of friends and even family. I've gotten to know them so well and can tell you that Dijon and Arrielle are love, respect, loyalty & strength. They complement each other in such a way that shows just how incomplete the puzzle would be without their two pieces. Only Dijon can care for Arrielle the way that she needs and nobody can fill the shoes Arrielle fills in Dijon’s life. They work hard for what’s rightfully theirs & fight to protect it. They were made for each other and their love will live on forever.

I've known Arrielle for like my whole life. I would go over to her house and she would babysit me for weekends and maybe even weeks. Even though I used to do that I still lowkey do, since my brother and Arrielle live together I can stay with them like every weekend. I'm basically their third child but that's okay though. ANYWAYS, have fun being married and doing married people things. I love you guys!

Dijon & Arrielle are such a blessing to everyone they meet. They are always so positive and doing whatever they can to encourage others. This couple is the definition of God fearing, hard work and grit. I love you both so much and I’m so happy that God allowed us to meet through business and develop into the best of friends. I pray God blesses you both individually and together as a unit. Remember Mark 10: 6-9 “But at the beginning of creation God made them male and female. For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become ONE FLESH. So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” You guys are one, the Davidsons! Always put God first and the rest will always be blessed! Love you guys!!

Dijon & Arrielle my cousin and my bestfriend, I’ve been around from the time they started as friend to the day they started a business journey together and now to them being married. To know them is know that love doesn’t always happen when you want it to but when it happens it is strong and unbreakable bond and that’s what they have. Dijon has been someone I consider a brother more than I do a cousin. From the sandbox to now being grown men on a journey to be the role models our young men need. He is a great father to his two beautiful daughters, a great leader and an even better friend. I wish you both happiness, longevity and lots of Love. Boom

When I first got to Widener I didn’t have many friends obviously due to me coming from the west coast. We had our Freshman meet up to get fitted for pads and I see this guy that looks like me with locs. I believe I tried to tell him some jokes but like our other friend coming from Poughkeepsie HS, he wasn’t too friendly lol. Turns out I was wrong when this guy became my roommate. My two New York brothers that made me feel like home. Then I found out he was annoying. Not that weird kid annoying, but the kind that dives on your back to wake you up in the morning saying “ayyyyooo, you up yo? Yoooo, get up yo.” Annoying! Lol. He showed me my first account of cool black kids that watched anime. Before then I thought it was for nerds only, I was missing out lol. But from those days, he was my mans, my brother. We skipped one year apart but chose each other as roommates again Jr year and bonded as brothers through the highs and lows of undergraduate life. Even jumped up and took a 4 hour trip to New York to see Maia born in person. A beautiful experience I’m blessed to have been a part of. He’s younger than me but was able to deliver advice and encouragement as if he was my older brother. I love him for that then and to this day. I am blessed to be his teammate again as he recommits his life to his beautiful wife for The Most High and the world to see. Love you twin, and excited for your day.

Tyrone Sturdivant

Tyrone or Ty, you can call me either one. I am calm, cool and collected individual. I have known Dijon since 2012. Dijon and I met at Widener University as I served as Dijon’s resident assistant. Since 2012, our friendship has developed into a life-long brotherhood that seeks to push each other to reach their goals by any means necessary. I am very thankful that Dijon is in my life and look forward to our bond growing stronger.

What can I say about this amazing couple that we don't already know!? Selfless!? Loving!? Hilarious! Definitely the last one for sure. After getting to know them both for the few last years, loyal is the main thing that comes to mind! Both to each other, and the ones they truly love and care about. Being able to know how to display love and how to drive each other into utter madness is an instinctual skill they possess! Seeing them through the good, the bad, and all the drama in between and how they face it all is as real as it gets and I couldn't love them anymore for it! To many more wonderful years to come! THE DAVIDSONS!

Dijon and I met in 2011 during our freshman year of college. We just so happen to be on the same dorm floor a few doors down from each other. We became very close friends fast as we both played the same position in football (CB). Oddly enough after that year we found a way to be roommates during the next few years of college and had plenty of absolutely hilarious memories and moments that will last an eternity. Dijon has become my brother and true friend and somebody I can always look to whenever I need it.

Dijon & Arrielle, My favorite couple! Dijon and Arrielle are meant for each other and it shows through their journey. Love and unity are the words that come to mind when thinking about them. I’ve known Dijon for over 15+ years and he’s always been someone I can count on. He’s a role model for many young men in this world. Dijon’s ability to stay positive no matter what life throws at him, is just one of his many honorable traits that he carries. He’s an outstanding husband, father and friend. Dijon and Arrielle, wishing you both love and happiness. I love you both!
