The Dress!

The dress has been ordered with an expected delivery date of April 1! Very casual but long and flowy - and it is ivory! So excited! Thank you to my amazing friend Amy for suggesting we go look at dresses a couple of weeks ago when we were visiting in Illinois!!! She was SO right! And, she already bought me my sandals!

Hello to all of our friends and family near and far! We have created this website and blog to let everyone know what our plans are for our wedding! Originally when we started making plans, we had talked about having the ceremony at my parent's house that is on land that has been in my family for a very long time. It would have been beautiful - with the mountains in the background. We were then going to take a honeymoon in Jamaica. When we first made our announcement months ago, our dear friend Penny sent me a text within minutes and asked us if we would like her to perform the ceremony. We, of course, said yes! However, after much discussion with my parents, we have decided to do everything in Jamaica! We will be staying at an all inclusive resort and (hopefully) not have a care in the world! All we have to do is show up! We are so excited for this - thanks to my Dad for suggesting we do this and footing the bill! We are looking forward to our small ceremony on the beach - right in the sand! We will keep this blog updated and the website as well with pictures from before, during, and after the ceremony. Thank you to everyone for your well wishes!
