Our Story

Groom

Ray is my best friend. He is charming, reliable, funny, and sensitive all in one big, attractive, manly package.

You had me at hello...

Ray and I first met at an elementary school where I was teaching. It was close to the end of the year, so I was testing in the hallway because I didn't have a classroom that day.

I had a small break and was sitting there looking at all the paperwork I had to complete. I noticed Ray walk in, but didn't say anything. Let me add, it was a Wednesday because we wear college shirts and I had my Sul Ross State Univerity shirt on.

Ray said hi and asked me if I went to Sul Ross. Apparently, he did too!

And that is how our love story began.

bride

Rosie is my soulmate. Rosie is caring, loyal, super funny, and takes pride in everything she does. Rosie makes me the best version of myself and I love spending my days with her. Her beauty and smile mesmerize and hypnotize me.

Fate set Rosie and me up. I met her while I was randomly stopping by an elementary school. I decided to walk the halls and test my luck during the prime days of Covid.

When I stepped into the hallway, I saw her sitting on the bench wearing a mask.  Even with the mask, I could tell she was beautiful. To my surprise, she was wearing a Sul Ross State University t-shirt. I decided to use that as my icebreaker since I went to school there too.

I asked her if she attended college there and found out that we were actually there at the same time. I had never met her or seen her before this day. But I felt an instant spark and connection.

From there our journey began and led to us getting engaged in New York City during Christmas at the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree.

I'm so lucky that I get to spend the rest of my life with her.
