Luiara is the kindest and cutest person in this world :).  She has a big heart and a beautiful soul and brings all the best feelings and wishes to those around her.  She is the NICEST girl ever! (modestly saying) 

 
She was born in Sao Paulo Brazil, where she lived a beautiful childhood with her parents and 3 brothers, She loves to dance and hang out with family and friends. Luiara is blessed to have two beautiful children Nicolle (16) and Bernardo (8) who means the world to her. She graduated in pedagogy (education) and after a brief career as a teacher discovered that her greatest skill was in business administration, where she developed her career as an executive assistant for 15 years. Luiara plans to fulfill her dream of returning to school and becoming a lawyer.

This story is about a love that was born when a broken heart left her country to start a new story and found on her way,  a friend from the past whom Luiara already had respect and admiration for. Luiara would never imagine that one day Terry would become her future husband.

Our destiny and path became clear. After a few moments together, fate brought Terry and Luiara's spirits were lifted with new energy for what the future might bring. Everything started subtlety, with fun encounters where Luiara felt closer and more connected with Terry. She was drawn to this incredibly smart and well oriented man, a father of a lovely children, fun and an excellent cook - Luiara fell in love with his charms.

One beautiful day Luiara was on a remote road fishing with her son, when she saw a car pulling over, she noticed that it was Terry and once again their paths crossed.  The next time they met, Terry and Luiara kissed for the first time with the most beautiful sunset, facing the sea. A young man approached and praised: "I just wanted to say that I noticed you and that you are a very beautiful couple!" It was like listening to the blessing of God, from that moment Luiara never wanted to separate from Terry anymore, her soul was blessed by the seed of love.

She was sure that this was a happy union, Terry filled all the points on her list of the ideal man and his sweetness radiated in her thoughts. Terry is a wonderful man inside and out.  Luiara fell in love and felt an immediate and strong connection between them.  This love was supported and encouraged by our children, relatives and friends. Everyone around us embracced this union and have blessed us with even more joy and hapiness as we take this next step on our journey together.

Luiara knows that there are some cultural differences between them, but it is the similarities that unite and strengthen them,  that draw them together. Both share the same goals, values and ideals, walk together in the love they feel for their children and in the way they raise them.  They especially know that love is built when two people want to walk on the same path in the same direction, it is this flowery and happy path that they decided to walk hand in hand for the rest of their days as husband and wife.

Originally from Salt Lake City Utah, Terry moved with his family to New Hampshire when he was in 7th grade and has grown to embrace the states “live Free or Die” motto. Terry developed an entrepreneurial spirit early in life renting his small boat to guests at his parent’s lake cabins while in grade school going on to start a number of businesses and invent new technologies along the way. Terry has always been a passionate loving family man with a great sense of humor, raising three beautiful children including his daughter Hanna (28), his son Camden (17) and his youngest daughter Taylor (15) as a single dad for much of his adult life. His dedication to his children and his demanding professional life were very fulfilling and he didn’t date much but kept an open mind and an open heart that one day he would meet the right person.
 
Having met Luiara years before when Terry rented an apartment to her and her family, their paths crossed again after Luiara returned to New Hampshire. There was something special about Luiara and an instant attraction that Terry couldn’t ignore. A few weeks after reconnecting, Terry spotted Luiara and her son out of the corner of his eye, while driving his car and listening to music on a beautiful spring afternoon on a remote country road in the middle of nowhere. Terry had been thinking of Luiara just moments before so he couldn’t believe it when she appeared as if by divine intervention, so he turned around and stopped.  When their eyes met, Luiara smiled and an instant connection was felt. Terry knew then, that one day Luiara would be his wife.
 
They began to spend time together going to the beach for walks or making dinner together and they quickly began to spend almost every day together. They not only spent time alone together but also with each other’s families and friends and it was so beautiful and natural the way the kids bonded with each other and our new expanded family was born. Terry had been looking for a new home when he started to see Luiara and his idea of what he wanted changed in an instant. He had been looking at a downtown condo in the heart of the city to prepare for the eventuality of his kids heading to college, but upon meeting Luiara he decided instead to find a home that was suitable for the family he knew was destined to be. He found a house that he felt was perfect and showed it to Luiara in June of 2020 and asked her if she would move in with him and join their families together. This step was a significant one for both, yet it felt right and so on July 1 Luiara and Terry moved into a new home and started a new life together.
 
Since then, the couple has navigated Covid, cultural differences and bringing their children together under one roof. Through all the challenges and changes never once did their love for each other waiver and instead they grew stronger together. Terry is a chivalrous person and believes in doing things with honor and so knowing he intended to ask Luiara to marry him, he first spoke to each of her parents and kids and asked if they would agree to let him ask for her hand in marriage. Terry also asked each of his children if they were OK with his intentions and he received enthusiastically the blessing of both their families. So, on Christmas Eve, Terry feeling the hand of god in their lives and with a hopeful heart got down on his knee and asked Luiara to marry him in front of their children and family.  Luiara said Yes! and everything Terry and Luiara felt for each other became even more clear and special in that moment surrounded by the love and support of their family.  
Not only had their love grown for each other, Luiara became Terry’s best friend and confidant as well as someone he truly could trust and respect and someone he knew would love his kids and he hers. Luiara is a special lady and Terry a good man, they both knew that this relationship was destined to be and that their individual paths brought them together through all of life’s mysterious ways.
 
Terry never expected or thought he would ever get married again or find someone so beautiful inside and out. Terry is always present and focused on what is happening now and his family comes before any other interest he has. Terry is extremely blessed to have Luiara as his Fiance and is also grown to love her children and she his children. Terry is in the process of adopting Luiara's children and is excited to have the opportunity to see his family grow and prosper.  As he looks to the future he knows his life will be better and more fulfilling having Luiara by his side, exploring, traveling, raising kids together, and growing in all ways including professionally, personally and in their shared faith.
