LaKisha was born and raised in Ringgold, Georgia. She attended Full Sail University earning a bachelor's degree in Cinematography and Master Degree in Creative writing. LaKisha currently owns the first minority woman-owned live streaming company 831 Vision Media. She also owns several other small businesses. Where she has owned and operated more than 20 years.
LaKisha is the beloved daughter of Causie Lee Taylor of Ringgold, Georgia and Michael Glenn Thornton of Dalton, Georgia.
John "Duke" was born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He attended Hampton University earning a bachelor's degree in Business Management. John "Duke" currently is the co-owner of John P. Franklin Funeral Home for 10 years.
John "Duke" is the beloved son of Eva and John Franklin, Sr. of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
We met at a party over 20 yrs ago. We locked eyes and exchanged numbers and the marathon began. Over the years we became extremely good friends. Throughout the year we would lose contact briefly and reconnect like we never lost contact. We would spend time catching up on where we were in our lives when we reconnected.
In January of 2020 I was faced with the biggest heartbreak I had ever experienced and that was my grandmother had answered the call we all must face someday and that was death.

At that time we did what we always did.... reconnected but this time it would be different. It was for good. This time we decided that we didnt want to waste another 20 years. We knew that God ordained for us to spend eternity together.
