Maid of Honor: Vanessa Escobar
I’ve known Ibony her whole life. We are first cousins by our mothers that are sisters. We have a major age gap but that definitely does not change the fact that she is basically my bestie. There is so many great memories from babysitting her to now our adulthood. I see Ibony as a little sister and she knows I’m just a phone call away for anything whether it is to vent, for inspiration/positivity, or even just a good laugh. She can always count on me to tell truth about any situation. I am so proud of the woman she is so far and I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for her and for Duane as well. I am so honored to be apart of and witness such an important bond between her and fiancé. I am beyond grateful she chose me to stand by her side on a day that will forever be unforgettable.

I am the sister-in-law of the bride and the mother of two beautiful girls. I am originally from the west side of Chicago, IL. I met Ibony and Duane in 2018. I was dating Ivanof Jr. (the bride's brother) and I instantly clicked with Ibony. Sisters was our automatically a title that was given (and Duey became a bonus brother a few months later). Ibony and I started hanging out and talking all the time and I became one of the three musketeers with Ibony and Sanoah. I enjoy having a good time and being surrounded by genuine happiness and love. I am very sweet, kind, selfless, and a goofy person that gets along with everyone.

Hey my name is Ashley! I’m 21, living in Miami, and currently a student at Florida International University where I’m pursuing a business major. I am the cousin of the bride and about three years ago (2019) I had the opportunity to meet the groom. I’ve always liked to spend my time watching sitcoms or listening to Caribbean Drake or Bad Bunny. More recently though, I’ve been getting into fitness and the outdoors. I enjoy making YouTube videos, creating pressed flower mason jar candles, and traveling. I met Duane in the 5th grade when I moved to Georgia from Louisiana and we've been like siblings ever since. I was so overjoyed when I found out Ibony and Duane were getting married and I am ecstatic that I get to be a part of the special day! Heyyy:) my name is Dejanae, or Dej for short. I am a 25 year old mother and self made nail tech. I first met the bride in middle school where we played basketball together. I will never forget how everyone always had us confused. From then on we just called each other cousins since everyone thought we looked alike anyway, and we definitely have a bond that is unbreakable. Hello, my name is Dymane Ferguson. I am 23 years old and I like to have fun building boosted cars, and explore new adventures. The groom and I have been best buds since 10th grade in high school. We instantly clicked with each other through our mutual likes and had an everlasting bond till now, 10 years later! I met Ibony in 2018 and she was a breath of fresh air for Duane. I loved her personality and how well they gravitated to each other truly. We became friends in Mr. Field's class and probably learned more there than in college! We became close during our freshmen year of college and are now family. I am the eldest brother of the bride, the husband to one of the bridesmaids, and a loving father to two beautiful girls. I am a mechanic and I love spending time with family. I am so proud of my sister. When we were younger, she would always get on my nerves. Now that we're older, I find myself calling her just to catch up more than I ever have. I love her and I am happy she has met Duane. He is a really great guy and it was amazing how easy it was for him to fit right into our family. Growing up, Ibony would occasionally explore with our other brother and me. Since she's been with Duane, we've passed that responsibility on to him and he's obviously cherished her so well. We would always remind him of two things about her; (1) she is now your responsibility and (2) she's very difficult and expensive so " Good Luck, Bro"
