Erica Smith

Erica was working in a sushi bar in Burlington the Thursday night before Valentines Day, bummed about all the lovers she'd be serving over the weekend to come. One of her regulars William came in with a guest. Overwhelmed by the handsomeness of William's companion, she ran to the back and attempted to straighten her hair and apply a little lipgloss. She nervously served the men their sushi and then they left like every other customer. She was totally distraught with the hotness exuding from the dark-haired guy with blue eyes she had just served.
The next day, Erica was at the restaurant stocking the bar for the weekend's festivities and Willam came back in for lunch, and this time he was alone. She had waited on him many times but was too nervous to say anything to him about his dinner guest. What if he was unavailable or uninterested and the interactions with her regular customer would be unbearably embarrassing from here on out?!
She was in the back still going on and on to the other servers about how that was the customer that was with that super hot guy from the night before. Erica left the restaurant to pick up a champagne order. When she returned one of the other servers had talked to William. They exchanged our phone numbers on old restaurant receipts (which they still have). Erica nervously checked her phone over and over again to see if he had texted. It didn't take long... about an hour later she got a text that said: "What's up?"
